The heart of Historic Hastings is 2nd Street and one of the local mainstays is RJ’s Tavern. Located in one of the beautiful original buildings built during the early settlement of this river town, RJ’s is the local hub where locals and visitors alike meet for lunch, dinner or drinks. RJ’s effortlessly does double duty as a tavern for the blue-collar locals while comfortably hosting couples and families with kids in tow – and that’s just the way we like it. The obvious choice when visiting RJ’s is a real apple-wood smoked bacon cheeseburger, or any of the stuffed burgers, both of which are known to be some of the best burgers on either side of the Mississippi or the St. Croix!
